Before
Purchasing - Test for freshness, place a needle between
your fingers. Needles from fir trees will snap cleanly
when fresh. Just the opposite is true for Pine tree
needles; they bend without snapping. |
| 2. |
When you
are home unwrap your tree from the netting or other
wrapping material. Lift the tree a few inches off the
ground and drop it down on the stump end. This will
help all the old growth needles fall to the ground and
let your tree fluff out. |
| 3. |
Make a
fresh, straight cut across the tree trunk, about an
inch up from the original cut. |
| 4. |
Keep your
tree outside in a bucket of water with Tree Life added
until you are ready to decorate. Be sure to not let
the water go below the new cut. |
| 5. |
Once inside,
place a Tree Skirt/Removal Bag under your tree before
putting in the stand. Then add Tree Life to the water
to maximize the life and beauty of your Christmas tree.
You will notice that the needles stay fresher, softer
and more fragrant during the holiday. Check the water
supply daily, adding fresh water and Tree Life as needed. |

When it’s
time to take your tree down, simply pull the bag up
over the top of the tree and secure with the enclosed
tie. |
| 7. |
Your tree
can then be removed without littering the house with
needles. It’s that simple! |
